We offer flexible hours at Waiapu Kids St Mary’s Tahatai to make childcare easy for you.

We are open from 7.30am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm to look after your children.

Please come in and have a chat or give us a call on (07) 572 5016 to talk about enrolment and your children.

Government Funding

We have government funded free hours to keep costs as affordable as possible for our whānau.

The government funds the cost of children aged three to five years old to attend early childhood education centres, like Waiapu Kids St Mary’s Tahatai, for up to 20 hours a week.

The Work and Income Childcare Subsidy is available to help families earning less than a certain threshold with the cost of all preschool childcare.  A childcare subsidy is normally paid for up to nine hours per week if parents are not working, studying, or training. For parents who are working, studying, or training, you may be able to get up to 50 hours per week subsidised.
